BCU 3
star training is for paddlers who have passed a 2 star assessment or have
appropriate paddling experience. It is in the 3 star training that we start
to work on refining strokes. A 3 Star paddler will possess a good command
and thorough understanding of all kayak strokes, can move and position the
boat effectively and efficiently in all directions, and is confident and
solid with bracing, sculling, and holding the boat on edge. We will work on
the following skills
